I’m a Southern California mom, wife, and travel obsessive who believes that the best family memories aren’t made on the couch. Whether it’s a long weekend glamping on Catalina Island, a couples city escape to Chicago, or a two-week adventure through Italy with kids in tow — I’m here to show you it’s all completely doable, and worth every bit of planning.

This blog exists because I spent way too many hours piecing together trip information from a dozen different sources. I wanted one honest place where a real family (or couple) could find out exactly what a destination is like — the logistics, the packing, the hidden gems, and yes, the things that didn’t go perfectly.

A little about our travel style

We’re a family of four based in Southern California. My husband Jeremy and I have two girls who have grown up exploring — from tide pools on Catalina to gelato shops in the Amalfi Coast. We lean toward experiences over tourist traps, local vibes over resort bubbles, and we always, always pack an extra layer.
